Hello, my name is Mario.

 I'm a Senior Illustrator/lead artist with extensive experience in Online media, Mobile & MMO game development, Publishing, Education, and Animation. I have experience leading a small creative team in a synergistic, collaborative environment that worked on significant IP brands like Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Lucasfilm LTD.

As a Senior illustrator/Senior 2D Artist at the Age of Learning, Inc (Glendale, CA), I worked on several teams, including ABCMOUSE.COM's Publishing, Art Activities, Studio, "My Math Academy" Mobile, and AdventureAcademy.Com MMO, teams. I've worked on a wide range of projects, utilizing my adaptive skillset to create art in multiple styles and on various projects,  

Before that, I worked on various development teams for The Walt Disney Company. The greater part of my ten years was as a Supervising Senior Illustrator on the Family.com team at Disney Interactive. I've also freelanced as a prop designer for Nickelodeon Animation Studio's Fanboy and Chum Chum show.

 My work has involved developing Original Story Concepts and Animation Layouts/Backgrounds for Mobile Animation Series, Designs for website UI, Logo/branding designs, Storyboards, Prop Design for animation, Iconography design, Publishing story illustrations, Character design, and Papercraft engineering.

My notable career highlights are; brokering synergy projects between Disney's Family.com and Marvel.com. I've had the good fortune of brokering a synergy project with Lucasfilm LTD Star Wars brand, Family.com, and Disney Parks, and Resorts - before the Walt Disney Company purchasing Lucasfilm.

For years, I have delivered premiere creative solutions and timely execution of challenging projects within the Entertainment, Education & Gaming industries — repeatedly exceeding all goals and expectations.

I have worked and collaborated with some truly talented professionals in various fields, and along the way, have gained long-lasting friendships with most of these individuals. These valued friends have taught me the meaning of teamwork, collaboration, innovation, and efficiency.

In addition to creating art, I also like listening to music, hiking, reading comic books, watching Sci-Fi movies, vintage toy collecting, sculpting, and going to Disneyland. 

I live with my lovely wife in Los Angeles's beautiful San Fernando Valley.
